During 2010, Enniscorthy Town Council plans to mark the 1,500th anniversary of the existence of Enniscorthy since it was founded by St. Senan in 510 A.D. The Official ceremony to mark this unique event will be held on March 6th 2010. This will be followed by a spectacular “Enlightenment parade” featuring Bui Bolg & many groups, bands etc. ending with a fantastic Fireworks display.
